Hello, I'm Freya, the animator and director for Hocus Potions!

I am a digital artist that mostly works with the programs Procreate and clip studio paint but will often dabble in traditional art like watercolour.

I studied at west notts college for five years, two years of art and three in creative digital media and three years at Sheffield Hallam University for animation.

growing up my art has been influenced by Laika's Coraline and Tim Burton's Nightmare before Christmas, the works of Junji Ito, steampunk/fairytales/fantasy and various video games.

I got the idea for hocus potions while in a lecture, I remember hearing stories about how influencers would try to ask smaller businesses for free stuff for a shout-out or exposure, this made me think about how this situation would play out in a fantasy setting.
